Does anyone else notice just by your kids behavior that its bedtime? I don't have to be near a clock to tell when its bedtime. My kids let me know. Remi is usually falling over and whining for her bottle and lately Kensington has been saying, but I'm happy mom, its not bedtime. Might be time for Kensington to start reading a clock or at least know where 8pm is.
Some days I can't wait for bedtime, but after an hour of them being down I miss them. I think its common. Every night I look back through the pictures on my phone of the day which makes me miss them more. Cole especially misses them because he doesn't get to see them much before they go to bed.
After I do my bed time routine, I sneak into their rooms to check on them. Remi never wakes up. I usually go arrange her animals back into the corners and disperse her five nucks around her crib. Once she turned one, we put a very flat pillow in her bed. Can you tell she likes it?
She loves to sleep with her Saranoni blanket. She use to ride with it in her infant car seat and I believe thats where she got attached to it. Now that she's in a big girl carseat and can throw it out the door as its closing, it goes into her crib with her. Yes, even my kids do that. They make great baby gifts. She has the mini in lush/lush.
Now Kensington sometimes wakes up when I sneak into her room. She's a light sleeper. So I rarely get to take a picture of her. I just tell her I'm covering her up and she will go back to sleep. You can't tell from these pictures but she has like seven baby dolls on one side of her, her annoying little bunny, her two favorite library books right now, and three little plastic figurines (a my little pony, a fish and a little girl) on her left. This is all in her crib, which has one of those transition toddler rails on it. Plus her sleepy green thing and both blankets have to be the correct way on top of her...or else.
I'm lucky I get the opportunity to stay home with them, otherwise they would both be in my bed every night. Which totally goes against everything I believe in.
