4th of July Part 1

'

So sad the weekend is over.  We traveled back to Wisconsin to enjoy a long four day weekend.  My in-laws have a camper at JellyStone Park so we stayed there.  Jellystone Park is awesome for kids.  There is a kid pool, slides, hayrides with Yogi and Boo Boo bear, kid activities throughout the day, miniature golf and much much more.  We only did the hayride and swam a little because the 4th is a big weekend on my husbands side.  Some family members fly in from Vegas and Texas, we go to the rodeo, the towns parade, they have a family BBQ, and tubing down the river. It was a lot of fun with such great weather.

We arrived Friday afternoon and thought we should take the girls swimming to burn off some energy from that four hour car ride and then have them take naps.  Glad we did because the heaters on the pool broke the next day and then they felt like the ice baths from college. There was a little kid pool that was 12" deep. Remi just hung around in her little blow up thing and Kensington dragged her around.

She loves to climb up and down of any chair.

Look at her strutting her stuff.

After naps we went to the rodeo. I love making memories with our kids. I also love making a stop at the rodeo because of Coles grandpa Papa. Its Papa's thing, he loves the rodeo.  Still does but he can't go at night anymore because his eye sight. So a lot of his children and their spouses, grandchildren and their spouses and his great grandchildren fill the bleachers for him at night.

As our kids got stir crazy we brought them over to the pony rides. Kensington was all about it.  She recalls riding it with Oma last year.  Remi on the other hand, whimpered or cried the whole time. Didn't want anything to do with them.

She wants a pony in her backyard.

I shouldn't be laughing.

Weeeee!

After that Cole bought the girls cotton candy and popcorn, a little ritual for them.  I think he does it for  the leftovers, I'm onto him.

Remi double fisting and getting feed by her sister. Thats my girl!

Part 2 of the weekend to come tomorrow.
